Purposeful Leadership. Thoughtfully Developed.

Altum partners with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership capacity through self-awareness, individualized coaching, structured leadership development, and research-informed practice.

Meet Ashlee

Leadership development begins with self-awareness.

Throughout my career, I have become increasingly convinced that meaningful leadership development begins with self-awareness.

Yet self-awareness rarely develops through information alone. It grows when leaders have the space to reflect honestly, understand their patterns, explore feedback without defensiveness, and intentionally align how they lead with who they want to become. That kind of growth depends on psychological safety—both within organizations and within ourselves.

Over the years, I have worked with thoughtful, capable leaders who genuinely wanted to make a positive difference. Yet many found themselves trying to fit a version of leadership they believed was expected of them rather than leading from their natural strengths. In the process, they often questioned their instincts, overlooked what made them effective, or lost confidence in their own judgment.

I became convinced that sustainable leadership development is not about becoming someone different. It begins by understanding yourself more clearly—recognizing your strengths, becoming aware of the patterns that shape your leadership, and intentionally choosing how you want to lead. When leaders develop from that place of awareness, they lead with greater clarity, confidence, authenticity, and purpose.

That belief became the foundation for Altum.

Altum was created to provide leaders with that space—to slow down, think more clearly, understand themselves more deeply, and intentionally develop the capacity to lead in ways that are both authentic and effective. I developed the Altum Leadership Development Methodology™—an integrated approach that helps leaders translate awareness into intentional action and sustainable behavior change.

Today, I partner with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership capacity through greater awareness, individualized development, and intentional leadership.

Leadership development is deeply personal. Every leader brings a different story, different strengths, and different challenges. My role is not to provide answers. It is to create the space, structure, and support that help leaders discover their own.

The Altum Approach

Leadership development is not simply about learning new skills.

Most leaders already understand what effective leadership looks like. The greater challenge is creating the awareness, space, and support to consistently lead that way amid the complexity of everyday work.

At Altum, every engagement is guided by five core principles.

Self-awareness creates better leadership.
Sustainable growth begins with understanding how you think, make decisions, communicate, and influence others

Psychological safety makes growth possible.
Leadership develops most effectively when people have the space to slow down, think honestly, receive meaningful feedback, and intentionally practice new behaviors.

Leadership is developed through practice.
Insight becomes lasting change through reflection, coaching, application, and reinforcement—not information alone.

Research should inform practice.
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, leadership science, coaching psychology, and adult development provide the foundation. Every concept is translated into practical leadership application.

Every leader develops differently.
Leadership is personal. Coaching and development are intentionally adapted to the individual, the role, and the organizational context rather than prescribing a single way to lead.

The Altum Difference

Leadership development is most effective when research, coaching, and real-world practice work together.

At Altum, research informs the process—but every engagement is adapted to the individual leader, their role, and the realities they face.

Assessments create insight, coaching creates space, learning builds understanding, and application transforms awareness into consistent leadership behavior.

Because leadership development isn’t about learning more.

It’s about becoming more intentional.
